Job Description

Non-Dispensing Pharmacy Technician at Dragonfly Health, processing prescriptions and providing customer service in hospice healthcare. Collaborating with clinical staff and ensuring medication accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Process new prescriptions, refills, and discontinuations with a high level of accuracy.
  • Maintain complete and compliant patient medication profiles.
  • Respond to high-volume inbound calls from hospice partners, prescribers, and clinical staff.
  • Triage and resolve routine service inquiries, escalating complex issues appropriately.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and active listening.
  • Apply de-escalation techniques when supporting urgent or emotionally sensitive situations.
  • Meet service level, quality, productivity, and documentation standards.
  • Utilize pharmacy systems and internal tools to manage workflows and document activity.
  • Identify service issues and partner with operations leadership on resolution.
  • Participate in training, system updates, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a healthcare setting.
  • A detail-oriented pharmacy technician who values accuracy and compliance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a calm, empathetic approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, call-driven environment.
  • Experience working with pharmacy systems, patient records, or workflow platforms.
  • A customer-focused mindset with the ability to problem-solve efficiently.
  • Comfort handling sensitive patient and clinical information confidentially.
  • Adaptability to changing processes, systems, and priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to documentation standards.
