Job Description
Unpaid part-time Pharmacy Intern supporting Humana’s healthcare and insurance services remotely in South Carolina. Completing pharmacy assignments while pursuing formal education.
Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks in the field of pharmacy or profession
- Complete varied assignments requiring interpretation and independent determination of appropriate courses of action
- Apprentice while completing formal education or immediately following graduation
- Understand department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating goals
- Make decisions regarding own work methods with minimal direction and receive guidance where needed
- Follow established guidelines and procedures
Requirements:
- Applicable state license
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
- Wireless, wired cable, or DSL connection suggested
- Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
- Occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be required
