Job Description

OEM sales manager driving Armstrong Fluid Technology’s value-based product and service sales across Europe/UK. Managing OEM accounts, channels, projects, and territory growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Exceed assigned booking and shipment targets within the designated territory
  • Manage assigned accounts and ensure proactive engagement and customer satisfaction
  • Prepare proposals and quotations according to the Armstrong sales process
  • Build and grow the direct customer base among OEM customers, distributors, and design engineers
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop customer relationships
  • Lead sales and marketing campaigns to increase sales, brand recognition, loyalty, margins, and reach
  • Define and operate the OEM sales channel within the Europe/UK region
  • Establish and maintain regular contact with decision-makers using a formalized work plan
  • Facilitate successful basis-of-design specifications for new factory programs and projects with internal stakeholders
  • Manage the leverage project pipeline through training, education, stakeholder engagement, sales meetings, joint sales calls, and quotation support
  • Build and maintain client relationships and become the Basis of Design through proactive consulting-engineer engagement
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Deliver post-sale support and resolve customer issues
  • Maintain customer and competitor records and participate in sales planning
  • Analyze customer feedback to improve market share
  • Sell Armstrong products, services, and solutions using value-based selling
  • Call on OEM customers weekly, develop territory plans, grow the sales funnel, and close projects
  • Maintain product knowledge and competitive understanding
  • Develop sales strategies, marketing channels, and sales forecasts
  • Apply commercial best practices through the Armstrong Sales Process
  • Update CRM records in real time and produce bi-weekly market activity reports
  • Monitor competitive activities and market conditions
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve operations and ensure on-time services
  • Support management-assigned special projects
  • Join and participate in European/UK trade associations including Eurovent, AREA, and REHVA

Requirements:

  • University degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and a marketeer who is customer centric
  • At least 5 years of experience in industry-related direct sales, particularly in solution and value-based sales
  • In-depth knowledge of OEM solutions and systems, including OEM product selection software
  • Experience tracking customer sales information, forecasts, and reports using CRM and related software applications
  • Strong understanding of complex B2B sales cycles and negotiation techniques
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
  • Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations to prospective customers
  • Ability to use Armstrong's sales process and value tools to present sustainable solutions delivering energy efficiency and long-term savings
  • Able to communicate verbally and in writing in English, with multilingual proficiency in French, Italian, Spanish, or German
  • Capability to simplify complex problems, conduct root cause analysis, and provide clear recommendations
  • Strong team-oriented leadership skills with presence and bias for action
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Ability to communicate openly and authentically
  • Willingness to travel up to 60–70% of the time
