Job Description
Online Adjunct Faculty for Bachelor of Science in Cyber & Data Security Technology program. Engaging in online instruction, grading, and fostering a student-centered learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate online instruction and engage in classroom discussion boards
- Grade assignments and provide timely feedback to students
- Foster a student-centered learning environment
- Maintain student records and collaborate within the University community to support student success
- Participate in professional development sessions per course taught
- Demonstrate expertise in cybersecurity through personal experiences for real-world application
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Data Security, or closely related field
- Practical professional work experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, or related role
- Resident and eligibility to work in the United States
- Internet connection and computer with video capabilities
- Commitment to teaching in an online environment
- Commitment to uphold University’s diversity, equity, and inclusion practices
- College level teaching experience preferred
- Experience teaching in the area of Degree preferred
- Active cybersecurity industry certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, CySA+)
