Job Description
Berater*in Bio-Ackerbau für die Zukunft der ökologischen Landwirtschaft und Lebensmittelwirtschaft in Bayern. Beratung, Wissenstransfer und Workshops zur Stärkung ökologischer Praktiken in der Landwirtschaft.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advisory services to our member farms on all topics and crops in market-oriented organic arable farming
- Develop practical strategies for implementing arable farming practices on farms
- Organize and conduct workshops and field days, and deliver technical presentations
- Participate in applied research projects
- Collaborate with raw material aggregators and processors to strengthen market opportunities and connect production with trade
Requirements:
- Professional knowledge and practical experience in organic arable farming
- Degree in agricultural sciences, qualification as a master craftsman (Meister) or agricultural technician, or an equivalent qualification
- Enthusiasm for organic farming and the motivation to actively advance it
- Willingness to travel for advisory services, projects and events
- Enjoy working with farms and an open, communicative manner
- German language skills (spoken and written) at C1 level required
- Enjoy conveying knowledge clearly — including giving presentations at workshops and field days
- Willingness to travel within the area of assignment
