Job Description
Pharmacy validation specialist verifying insurance eligibility and documenting claims data for healthcare intelligence company. Supporting coordination of benefits and accurate member records through carrier outreach.
Responsibilities:
- Verify medical insurance eligibility data
- Accurately document gathered data
- Meet daily production quotas
- Follow specific timeframes to complete tasks
- Use multiple computer systems efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service
- Facilitate coordination of benefits using insurance eligibility and claims payment information
- Conduct outreach to insurance carriers to ensure member records are accurate
Requirements:
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience
- Experience with health insurance is preferred, but not required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including on the phone, are required
- Ability to work well independently or in a team environment
- Very strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Word and Excel proficiency required
- Experience in the healthcare field is helpful, but not required
