Job Description

Menlo Security seeks a Platform Infrastructure Engineer to enhance product release processes in a remote role. Join a collaborative culture aiding Fortune 500 companies in secure communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and improve our tools for continuous build and deployment, automated testing, and release management.
  • Own, manage, and improve our release process with a focus on scale, efficiency, and security standards.
  • Build and maintain tooling needed during release pushes to remove friction and enable engineering teams to maintain high velocity.
  • Ensure infrastructure standards are being followed and offer improvements where possible.
  • Use a data-driven approach to measure the health of releases and supporting systems.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams to foster relationships and drive projects to completion.

Requirements:

  • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience in software engineering, release engineering, and/or configuration management.
  • Proficiency with AWS or GCP, and hands-on experience with Docker, Terraform, and Ansible.
  • Proficiency with one or more scripting languages, including Python.
  • Deep understanding and experience with Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration systems.
  • Demonstrable experience in designing, maintaining, and documenting scalable and resilient systems with a strong security posture.
  • Clear English communication skills; able to tailor a message to influence organizational change and work with autonomy.
  • A DevOps and "on-call" mindset—embracing the "build it, own it, run it" philosophy.
