Job Description
Clean Energy Technician installing heat pumps, cylinders, and radiators for Aira’s sustainable home energy systems. Training provided toward heat pump installer progression.
Responsibilities:
- Install Aira heat pumps, cylinders, and radiators
- Help families lower their costs and carbon footprint
- Work with an experienced, qualified heat pump installer
- Collaborate with team members and designers
- Use surveyed installation plans and schematic diagrams
- Complete high-quality, safe, and efficient heat pump installations
- Train at Aira Academy toward progression as a Heat Pump Installer
Requirements:
- NVQ level 2 plumbing (or equivalent)
- Experience installing radiators, cylinders, and pipework
- NVQ Level 3 plumbing (or equivalent) would be good to have
- WRAS Qualifications (water regs) would be good to have
- Unvented hot water systems (part G) would be good to have
- Gas qualifications would be good to have
- Previous heat pump experience is not required
- Ability to work safely and efficiently as part of a team
