Job Description
Clean Energy Technician installing heat pumps, cylinders, and radiators for Aira’s sustainable home-energy systems. Training and progression toward heat pump installation.
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a team to install Aira heat pumps, cylinders, and radiators
- Help families lower their costs and carbon footprint through clean-energy installations
- Work closely with the team and designers to fit efficient, reliable systems
- Carry out installations safely and efficiently using surveyed jobs and schematic diagrams
- Train at the Aira Academy and progress toward becoming a Heat Pump Installer
- Participate in a Europe-wide team of engineers
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 plumbing (or equivalent)
- Experience installing radiators, cylinders, and pipework
- NVQ Level 3 plumbing (or equivalent) desirable
- WRAS Qualifications (water regs) desirable
- Experience with unvented hot water systems (Part G) desirable
- Gas qualifications desirable
- Previous heat pump experience is not required
- Willingness to complete Air Source Heat Pump training at Aira Academy
