Job Description
Clean Energy Technician installing heat pumps, cylinders, and radiators for Aira’s sustainable home-energy systems. Training toward Heat Pump Installer progression while helping households reduce energy costs and carbon emissions.
Responsibilities:
- Install Aira heat pumps, cylinders, and radiators as part of a team
- Work with an experienced, qualified heat pump installer to ensure installations are safe and efficient
- Work closely with the team and designers to fit efficient, reliable systems
- Use surveyed job specifications and schematic diagrams for each installation
- Train at the Aira Academy and progress toward becoming a Heat Pump Installer
- Help families reduce energy costs and carbon footprints
- Collaborate as part of a Europe-wide engineering team
Requirements:
- NVQ level 2 plumbing (or equivalent)
- Experience installing radiators, cylinders, and pipework
- NVQ Level 3 plumbing (or equivalent) would be beneficial
- WRAS Qualifications (water regs) would be beneficial
- Experience with unvented hot water systems (Part G) would be beneficial
- Gas qualifications would be beneficial
- Willingness to complete Air Source Heat Pump training at an Aira Academy in the UK
