Job Description
Clean Energy Technician installing heat pumps, cylinders, and radiators for Aira’s sustainable home energy systems. Training provided toward heat pump installer progression.
Responsibilities:
- Install Aira heat pumps, cylinders, and radiators as part of a team
- Help families lower their costs and carbon footprint
- Work closely with teammates and designers to fit efficient, reliable systems
- Use surveyed job plans and schematic diagrams for each installation
- Train at the Aira Academy and progress toward becoming a Heat Pump Installer
- Collaborate as part of a Europe-wide engineering team
Requirements:
- NVQ level 2 plumbing (or equivalent)
- Experience installing radiators, cylinders, and pipework
- NVQ Level 3 plumbing (or equivalent) preferred/desirable
- WRAS Qualifications (water regs) preferred/desirable
- Experience with unvented hot water systems (part G) preferred/desirable
- Gas qualifications preferred/desirable
- No previous heat pump experience required
- Must complete/progress through Air Source Heat Pump training at an Aira Academy
- Work safely and efficiently with an experienced, qualified heat pump installer
