Job Description
Clean Energy Technician installing heat pumps, cylinders, and radiators for Aira’s sustainable home energy solutions. Training provided toward Heat Pump Installer progression.
Responsibilities:
- Install Aira heat pumps, cylinders, and radiators as part of a team
- Work with an experienced, qualified heat pump installer
- Ensure high-quality heat pump installations are carried out safely and efficiently
- Work closely with the team and designers to fit efficient, reliable systems
- Use surveyed jobs and schematic diagrams for each installation
- Complete training to progress toward becoming a Heat Pump Installer
- Help families lower their costs and carbon footprint
- Join a Europe-wide team of engineers
Requirements:
- NVQ level 2 plumbing (or equivalent)
- Experience installing radiators, cylinders, and pipework
- NVQ Level 3 plumbing (or equivalent) would be good to have
- WRAS Qualifications (water regs) would be good to have
- Experience with unvented hot water systems (part G) would be good to have
- Gas qualifications would be good to have
- Previous heat pump experience is not required
- Willingness to complete Air Source Heat Pump training at an Aira Academy in the UK
