Job Description
Data Engineer responsible for designing and managing data processes at Cozey. Collaborating with various teams to understand business data requirements and implementing reporting tools.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and own the entire data stack and processes at Cozey
- Collaborate with all teams to understand their business needs and data requirements
- Implement and manage ETL/ELT processes for collecting, transforming, and integrating data from various sources
- Design and maintain the data warehouse to meet the organization’s needs
- Implement and oversee reporting and business intelligence tools to support data-driven decision making
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience building, deploying, and operating a complete data stack, including ingestion, transformation, and reporting
- 5+ years of experience in data modeling and data warehousing with platforms such as AWS Redshift or Athena
- Strong proficiency with ELT tools like Fivetran, AWS Glue, and Apache Airflow
- Experience with ETL tools, including AWS Glue, Step Functions, and funnel.io
- Excellent Python and SQL skills for data manipulation, analysis, and automation
- Experience with version control tools (GitHub, GitLab) and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CDK)
- Expertise with visualization and BI tools, such as Tableau
- Solid understanding of data governance principles, data quality, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
- Experience with AWS, including services like S3 and Redshift
