Job Description

Principal Product Designer defining the UX and UI vision for Pantheon's product initiatives. Actively designing while shaping overall design direction and influencing product strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Define the UX and UI vision and strategy for Pantheon's new product initiatives
  • Actively designing while also shaping the overall design direction across our product portfolio
  • Influence product strategy and roadmap from a user-centered perspective, partnering with executive leadership to bring new products from concept to market
  • Lead research into emerging design trends and technologies
  • Oversee the evolution of our design system
  • Champion the user's voice at all levels of the organization
  • Leverage AI tools to amplify design velocity
  • Drive organizational change and process improvements to enhance design maturity across Pantheon

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of extensive experience in UX leadership, with a proven track record of defining and implementing successful UX strategies for SaaS products
  • Portfolio demonstrating hands-on UX and UI craft across the full design process
  • Experience designing and shipping AI-powered product features or products with embedded AI/ML capabilities
  • Track record of using AI tools (e.g., Figma AI, generative design tools, LLM-assisted workflows) to accelerate design output
  • Experience in new product development, including 0→1 product launches
  • Demonstrated ability to shape the UX vision for a company and influence overall product strategy
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership to align design strategy with business goals
  • Proven track record of mentoring designers and fostering a design-driven culture
  • Ability to effectively communicate with executives, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
  • Experience contributing to the broader design community through publications, presentations, or thought leadership
