Job Description

Product Design Lead shaping billups’ AI-powered out-of-home media products. Owning product design strategy, systems, UI craft, and cross-functional delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end design across the digital product ecosystem, from complex user flows and design systems to micro-level UI craft, micro-interactions, and typography
  • Lead the product design team
  • Own the end-to-end design process, from wireframing and user flow optimization to high-fidelity UI prototyping
  • Build and maintain scalable UI libraries and design systems across digital touchpoints
  • Translate complex business requirements into intuitive, innovative, and aesthetically superior interfaces
  • Ensure digital products reflect the brand’s visual identity
  • Bridge strategy, creative, and engineering teams while ensuring technical feasibility and design integrity
  • Oversee the visual direction of projects, potentially including 3D visualization, motion, or high-fidelity rendering

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6–7 years of digital product design experience (UI/UX)
  • Proven experience leading design initiatives on complex web or mobile applications
  • Expert proficiency in Figma, including advanced prototyping, variables, and auto-layout
  • Strong grasp of cognitive frameworks such as Miller’s Law and accessibility standards
  • Familiarity with front-end constraints including HTML, CSS, and React
  • Ability to hand off clean, pixel-perfect assets to developers
  • Ability to oversee 3D visualization, motion, or high-fidelity rendering
  • Deep experience building and scaling component libraries and design systems
  • Ability to articulate design rationale using UX principles and business objectives
  • Ability to present design decisions to stakeholders with a focus on brand equity and user retention
  • Exceptional portfolio demonstrating typography, composition, color, visual hierarchy, complex design systems, and scalable UI libraries
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Familiarity with Framer or similar prototyping tools
  • Experience in agency environments or design-led technology companies preferred
  • Fully authorized to work in the location of the position
