Job Description

Product Manager leading product strategy and development in sustainability for a remote team. Driving commercialization and innovation in nature data for large-scale recovery initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive product strategy, roadmap, and feature development from ideation to release.
  • Break down complex problems into clear requirements and actionable product solutions.
  • Use nature and business insights to inform long-term strategy and short-term decision-making.
  • Apply analytical thinking to evaluate data, ensure accuracy, and support data-driven product decisions.
  • Understand user needs and personas to inform product direction and prioritisation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, data science, scientific, design, and commercial teams to deliver high-quality features.
  • Work closely with design to support intuitive and effective user experiences.
  • Operate autonomously in a fast-paced start-up environment, adapting to evolving business needs.
  • Contribute to a culture of care, collaboration, and high performance within a remote organisation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (engineering, computer science, mathematics etc) or a related scientific discipline (e.g. ecology, biology)
  • At least 5 years of product management experience, ideally in the B2B SaaS space
  • Experience working at fast-paced environments
  • Candidates for this role can be based in the UK or the EU. The venture is based in the UK, but will build a global team, and will create a native remote-working culture.
  • Strategic thinking
  • Identify and synthesize nature and business insights to shape long-term product strategy and short-term solutions.
  • Be comfortable with uncertainty. Be able to break down complex problems into smaller pieces and define clear requirements.
  • Apply data-driven thinking with an aptitude for quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
  • Excel at working with data, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Understand the user base and analyze profiles of key users to inform product decisions.
  • Collaborate with Design to deliver to deliver intuitive and effective user experiences.
  • Work cross-functionally - across engineering, data science, design, scientific and commercial teams - to ensure timely high quality feature delivery and effective commercialization
  • Detail-oriented and highly developed organizational skills including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
