Job Description
Product Manager managing trading systems for Binance, a leading blockchain ecosystem. Overseeing backend trading logic, working closely with engineering, and ensuring system performance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the trading systems on the backend portal that configures and controls trading logic.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear technical product specifications for engineering implementation.
- Work closely with engineering teams to deliver system improvements with high accuracy, stability, and scalability.
- Manage key trading logic configurations, examples like contract parameters, leverage/margin rules, liquidation, funding- rates, and risk limits.
- Partner with Trading Risk, Product Operations, and Business stakeholders to ensure system updates/enhancements are safe, compliant, and well-governed.
- Monitor system performance and incidents, support troubleshooting, and drive continuous optimization of internal workflows and controls.
Requirements:
- Bachelors, Masters/PHD degree in Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or related quant fields.
- Less than 5 years of experience (including internships), ideally in trading systems, backend product, fintech, quant, or platform roles.
- Strong understanding of trading fundamentals such as order book mechanics, margin, leverage, liquidation, PnL, and risk management concepts.
- Strong logical thinking and ability to work with complex mathematical models and system rules.
- Comfortable working with data and technical teams; experience with SQL/Python/Excel is a strong plus.
- Bilingual English/Mandarin is required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders.
