Job Description

Virtual Marketplace Data Analyst supporting listing optimization for a U.S. consumer products company. Involved in product listing across platforms like Amazon and Walmart with a focus on detail and analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in SKU kickoff reviews and set up structured sheets to organize competitor research, product details, review insights, and marketing pointers.
  • Conduct multi-tool keyword research, clean and consolidate keyword sets, and build prioritized lists mapped to competitor positioning, images, and selling angles.
  • Analyze competitor listings (titles, bullets, images, A+ content, video) to identify marketing patterns, differentiators, and opportunity gaps.
  • Refine optimized listing copy and develop complete listing briefs with keywords, positioning notes, and content recommendations for images, A+, and video.
  • Review AI-generated content and copy for accuracy, errors, misclaims, and alignment with research data.
  • Coordinate with designers to review images for quality and accuracy, including AI artifacts, pixelation, color accuracy, and dimensions.
  • Perform keyword pull tasks and follow step-by-step processes while maintaining organized research and ensuring accuracy in all deliverables.

Requirements:

  • #1 Priority: Strong attention to detail, catching minor errors in images, copy, and product data.
  • Minimum 6 months experience with Amazon product listings, including understanding of ASINs and product optimization.
  • Clear, respectful communication and comfort participating in daily calls.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, accountable, takes initiative, and owns mistakes.
  • Eye for visuals with the ability to spot AI-generated image issues.
  • Familiarity with Amazon listing components (titles, bullets, images, A+, keywords) preferred.
  • Experience with keyword and competitor tools such as Helium 10, DataDive, ZonGuru, or similar is a plus.
  • Proficient in Google Sheets / Excel for structured data organization.
  • Ability to analyze competitor listings and extract marketing and positioning insights.
  • Able to work independently within defined workflows and meet throughput targets.

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday (CST hours) 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Salary: 2000 USD Monthly
