Job Description
Product Owner overseeing fiscal and accounting operations at a technology and services company. Driving development and improvement initiatives in the fiscal distribution market.
Responsibilities:
- Receive external and internal improvement proposals for existing solutions.
- Define MVP - minimum viable product.
- Understand the needs contained in the product backlog.
- Prioritize the needs contained in the product backlog.
- Write job/user stories.
- Capture requests, aligned with expectations, analyzing the best time, cost, and effort, and passing them on to the technical team.
- Interact with the technical team, facilitating development work.
- Perform business validation for completed developments.
- Clarify questions about existing solutions.
- Receive customization requests.
- Define the priority of customizations together with the development team.
- Study requirements, legislation, and layouts.
- Structure projects in TFS: Epics, Features, Backlog items, and test cases in DevOps.
- Write stories and scenarios and refine them with the development team.
- Schedule Sprint Planning meetings.
- Present features/resources at Sprint Planning meetings.
- Accept or reject features during the delivery/hand-over meeting.
- Support the Unet consultant in critical implementations or critical issues.
- Inform and update the communications team and internal Target teams about the features in new releases.
- Inform and update the communications team and clients about the features in new releases.
- Inform and update the communications team and clients about new tax rules that may affect the distributor's controls and results.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields;
- Strong knowledge of fiscal and accounting routines, such as: ICMS, IPI, PIS, COFINS;
- SPED Fiscal and SPED Contábil experience;
- Tax calculation and tax apportionment (apuração de impostos);
- Knowledge of tax reporting and ancillary obligations (obrigações acessórias);
- Familiarity with CBS, IBS and IS (tax reform);
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably in distribution or wholesale environments);
- Experience translating business rules for technical teams;
- Availability for domestic (national) travel;
- Analytical profile — data-driven decision making and roadmap structuring;
- Ability to lead and collaborate with the UX team;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
