Job Description
Program Manager leading multidisciplinary CDC public health programs for federal contractor BryceTech. Overseeing task-order execution, stakeholders, workstreams, quality, schedules, and deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of approximately 30+ professionals supporting the CDC
- Provide overall program and task order leadership
- Serve as the primary contractor interface with CDC leadership, the CDC COR, Government stakeholders, and partners
- Develop, maintain, and execute integrated work plans, schedules, milestones, staffing plans, and performance objectives
- Direct activities across public health program support, evaluation, organizational analysis, strategic planning, project management, process improvement, and training workstreams
- Manage staffing, resource allocation, workload distribution, and surge requirements across concurrent projects
- Establish quality control processes and ensure deliverables meet Government requirements
- Monitor program performance, schedules, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items; develop mitigation strategies
- Lead program status meetings and facilitate stakeholder and contractor communication
- Prepare and oversee monthly status reports, project updates, briefings, presentations, and other deliverables
- Provide senior-level advice and recommendations to CDC leadership
- Facilitate senior leadership meetings, working groups, planning sessions, and project reviews
- Ensure timely resolution of cost, schedule, quality, staffing, and technical performance issues
- Coordinate compliance with HHS/CDC security, privacy, information management, and training requirements
- Support emerging CDC priorities and high-visibility initiatives
- Ensure work products are accurate, professional, scientifically sound, and responsive to CDC requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in public health, health administration, business administration, management, social sciences, or a related field
- 10 years of relevant professional experience
- Significant experience managing complex programs, projects, or professional services engagements
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams supporting Federal Government or public health programs
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects, workstreams, deliverables, and stakeholder requirements
- Experience developing and managing integrated work plans, schedules, milestones, risks, and performance measures
- Experience working directly with senior Government or public-sector stakeholders
- Strong understanding of program management principles, organizational performance, process improvement, and strategic planning
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level briefings and reports
- Ability to lead teams, resolve issues, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in a complex environment
