Job Description
Proposal Support Specialist managing ERP product setup and order accuracy for Lakeshore’s educational products. Coordinating purchasing, sales, planning, and accounting to keep school orders on track.
Responsibilities:
- Set up sourced products end-to-end in the ERP system
- Ensure item details, selections, and quantities are accurate before orders move forward
- Review and cross-reference project documentation and community scope before data entry
- Partner with Purchasing, Sales, and Planning Operations to confirm product setup and material availability
- Communicate with Accounting and the sales field to identify and resolve pricing discrepancies
- Identify and reconcile moderately complex order or data discrepancies
- Maintain organized, audit-ready electronic order files in accordance with company policies and compliance requirements
- Support accurate, timely fulfillment of orders for educators and schools
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in order processing, data entry, operations coordination, or a closely related role
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook
- Ability to pick up new systems quickly
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to coordinate across teams with different priorities
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred
- Hands-on experience with an ERP system or in a high-volume fulfillment or order management environment preferred
- Must work on-site at the Carson, CA headquarters on a regular, scheduled basis
- Must meet employment eligibility requirements; Lakeshore uses E-Verify
