Job Description
Proposal writer developing Medicaid managed care RFP responses for Centene. Creating compliant narratives, coordinating subject matter experts, and supporting proposal project management.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and develop responses to the organization's requests for proposals (RFPs) for re-procurements and new business opportunities
- Develop and write responses to RFPs
- Work closely with internal functional area subject matter experts to develop response narratives and gather forms, exhibits and reports
- Conduct first-level internal quality review of proposal responses for compliance with RFP requirements and Drafting Guides, and alignment with win strategy and themes
- Support project management activities, including CNET team site development and maintenance, template creation, narrative tracking and formatting
- Develop RFP transition documentation to improve overall quality of business implementation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of managed care operations experience (36 months)
- Experience preferably in technical RFP response development or healthcare
- Proposal writing experience within the Medicaid managed care industry is highly preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Visio and Power Point
- Evening and weekend work may be needed during peak RFP periods
