Job Description
EHR data report developer building SQL reports, dashboards, and integrations for BHcare. Supporting healthcare data integrity, compliance, and clinical operations.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data extracts supporting clinical, operational, financial, and quality initiatives
- Partner with BHcare departments to translate business needs into reporting and EHR solutions
- Configure, test, implement, and support EHR enhancements, workflows, forms, interfaces, and system upgrades
- Troubleshoot reporting, application, and data issues
- Provide technical support and training to end users
- Monitor and maintain data integrity, system performance, and integrations between the EHR and other platforms
- Administer user access
- Support HIPAA and confidentiality compliance
- Assist with data governance efforts
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders on continuous improvement, system optimization, and regulatory reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or a related field and at least two years of report development experience; OR four or more years of directly related experience in lieu of a degree
- Advanced SQL skills, including multi-table joins, subqueries, stored procedures, and query optimization
- Experience developing reports and supporting applications in a production environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA requirements and protected health information (PHI) management
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills
- Candidates must reside in Connecticut
- Preferred: Experience with EHR administration, development, or support
- Preferred: Experience with Qualifacts CareLogic
- Preferred: Knowledge of 42 CFR Part 2 regulations
- Preferred: Behavioral health, healthcare, or community health reporting experience
- Preferred: Familiarity with Pentaho, Looker, or similar ETL and business intelligence platforms
- Preferred: Experience utilizing AI tools for SQL development, data analysis, or technical documentation
