Job Description
Part-time financial coach delivering unbiased virtual sessions for MSA, a global financial-wellness benefits provider. Covering budgeting, debt, credit, retirement, investing, insurance, and home buying.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct 30-minute one-on-one virtual coaching sessions with members
- Cover budgeting, debt reduction, credit management, retirement planning, investment education, insurance basics, and home buying
- Provide unbiased financial education without selling financial products
- Tailor each session to the member’s goals, situation, and starting point
- Briefly document topics covered after each session
- Maintain member confidentiality
- Choose coaching topics based on areas of strongest expertise
- Set availability and work on a flexible schedule
- Submit a cover letter, resume or CV, and relevant certifications when applying
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in financial coaching, financial planning, or personal finance education
- Familiarity with financial systems in Brazil
- Working knowledge of budgeting, debt management, credit, retirement, investing, insurance, and/or home buying
- Ability to explain financial concepts in plain, understandable language
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Fluency in Portuguese
- Moderate technical proficiency, including independent use of a computer, basic software applications, and a CRM system
- Reliable high-speed internet
- Quiet, professional space to conduct sessions
- Warmth, empathy, and professionalism
- Certification in financial coaching or planning is nice to have, including CFP, CPA, CFA, licensed financial planner/bank wealth manager, or similar
- Experience coaching across diverse populations and financial backgrounds is nice to have
Benefits:

- Average rate of $25–$35 USD per 30-minute coaching session
