Job Description

Quality Assurance Analyst ensuring software quality for nonprofit solutions through manual testing and collaboration. Responsible for designing test plans, executing tests, and reporting defects.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform continuous acceptance testing for feature upgrades and bug fixes, verifying correct application functionality and proper implementation of changes
  • Design comprehensive test plans and test cases for all new features, focusing on coverage and identifying edge cases
  • Execute manual and exploratory testing across all supported platforms to ensure high-quality and consistent user experience
  • Document and report all identified defects and verify all reported bugs, working with the Product Owner and team to prioritize them in the backlog
  • Collaborate with Software Engineers to address issues discovered during testing
  • Drive adoption of ongoing quality improvements to reduce defects and streamline code delivery
  • Act as a liaison between Support (via Jira and Slack) and the team to ensure reported issues are accurately submitted and clearly understood
  • Maintain and update test databases and staging environments
  • Support the writing of Release Notes and additional documentation to coincide with each release
  • Collaborate with fellow QA Analysts and the broader QA team to implement, maintain and apply consistent quality assurance processes and standards

Requirements:

  • Experience with QA software testing experience focused on manual testing
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience testing a B2B application
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence and Zendesk preferred
  • Previous experience with Test Management systems (i.e. QMetry)
