Job Description
QA Automation Engineer ensuring application quality at Xtrm, a global fintech payments company. Designing and maintaining automation frameworks while collaborating with product teams.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end quality assurance for assigned product features and releases.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks using Playwright and Rest Assured.
- Perform hands-on manual testing where automation is not feasible or during early feature development.
- Execute and validate API tests and ensure data integrity across services.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and designers throughout the product lifecycle.
- Identify, log, track, and own defects to closure using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating and maintaining automated test execution.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of automation frameworks, coding standards, and QA best practices.
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (UI automation).
- Experience with Rest Assured for API automation.
- Solid foundation in Manual Testing and test design techniques.
- Practical experience in API Testing.
- Good knowledge of Core Java.
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
