Job Description
Manual QA Tester validating enterprise applications, APIs, and business workflows. Supporting UAT, defect resolution, and release readiness for reliable enterprise software releases.
Responsibilities:
- Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Design test plans, scenarios, and detailed manual test cases
- Execute functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, smoke, and exploratory testing across web, API, and backend systems
- Validate business-critical workflows including orders, payments, billing, invoicing, notifications, and reporting
- Verify data accuracy using SQL
- Test REST or SOAP APIs
- Document defects from reproduction steps through triage, retesting, and regression validation
- Support UAT, release-readiness reviews, and post-production validation
- Track testing work in Jira, Azure DevOps, qTest, or Zephyr
- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, developers, and senior QA resources to support reliable, on-time releases
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of hands-on manual QA/testing experience in web-based or enterprise application environments
- Strong experience designing and executing functional, integration, regression, and UAT test coverage from requirements and user stories
- Experience testing REST or SOAP APIs using Postman, SoapUI, or equivalent tools
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases for backend validation and troubleshooting
- Experience with test-management and defect-tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, qTest, Zephyr, TestRail)
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in Agile delivery teams
- Availability to work 11:00 am–7:00 pm local time to overlap with US hours
