Job Description
Quality Assurance Team Lead at Case IQ responsible for developing testing strategies and mentoring QA engineers. Overseeing QA processes and driving software excellence for a wide array of clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies, standards, and best practices.
- Lead and mentor a team of manual QA engineers to enhance testing strategies.
- Oversee test planning, execution, and reporting for manual testing.
- Serve as QA tester for Scrum team
- Collaborate with Product Management, Development, and DevOps teams to align testing efforts with product requirements and release schedules.
- Identify, document, and track defects while ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate with test automation team to align on coverage and test design
- Validate automated tests, execute and monitor automated test runs
- Lead and implement performance testing
- Drive Agile testing practices, ensuring seamless integration of QA processes within Agile development cycles to enhance product quality and delivery speed (Fast Tempo, High Quality)
- Continuously analyze and enhance QA processes for better efficiency and effectiveness.
- Report key quality metrics to leadership and provide insights for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience (5+ years) in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience with test automation frameworks (Playwright)
- Experience with performance testing (JMeter)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, CI/CD processes.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, ensuring rapid development cycles without compromising software excellence.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of software development and release management processes.
