Job Description
R&D Engineer II (Ballistician) focusing on design and development of propulsion systems. Collaborating with manufacturing and product teams to enhance product efficacy and delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts research, design, and development activities with the goal of developing new or improved products, processes, or services.
- Collaborates with internal manufacturing partners and product specialists to optimize designs for manufacturability.
- Applies research theories when conducting experiments and research activities.
- Conducts market research, tracks projects, and evaluates trade space.
- Summarizes research results and communicates findings to internal and external bodies.
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree and 2-4 years' experience
- Engineering degree required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Must have knowledge of product innovation, research and development, and project scoping.
- Experience in ballistics analysis of Solid Rocket Motors is preferred.
