Job Description
Virginia / Chesapeake Regional Area Manager overseeing client relationships and sales strategies for GPS solutions provider. Responsible for revenue growth and market analysis with some travel.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain relationships with existing clients in the designated territory.
- Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally; ensures client satisfaction through regular follow-ups and feedback mechanisms.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue in the market.
- Set and achieve predetermined revenue goals.
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to drive revenue growth.
- Analyze market data to identify sales opportunities and threats; create effective sales strategies tailored to the market needs and trends.
- Collaborate with the sales team to implement innovative sales techniques.
- Set clear and achievable sales targets for the sales team.
- Monitor progress toward sales goals and provide guidance and support to team members.
- Implement motivational initiatives to boost sales team performance.
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the market.
- Ensure smooth functioning of logistics, inventory management, and distribution processes.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in sales, preferably in a leadership role.
- A history of recent past successes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and remotely.
- A strong understanding of sales strategies and techniques.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze market trends and sales data.
- Excellent customer service skills and a focus on building long-term relationships with clients.
