Job Description
Principal SAP Plant Maintenance Consultant designing SAP S/4HANA Plant Maintenance solutions for federal and DoD clients. Managing asset maintenance for ships, aircraft, and shore facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement SAP Plant Maintenance solutions for complex SAP S/4HANA implementations
- Lead client workshops to gather and analyze corrective, preventive, and condition-based maintenance requirements
- Design and configure technical objects, maintenance notifications, work orders, and maintenance plans
- Integrate SAP PM with Materials Management, Finance and Controlling, and Project Systems
- Coordinate design and integration points with functional and technical experts
- Develop functional specifications for customizations, reports, and interfaces
- Oversee unit and integration testing, defect resolution, and user acceptance testing
- Support maintenance master-data migration
- Provide post-go-live support
- Advise client maintenance and engineering leadership on maintenance best practices and SAP S/4HANA Asset Management
- Provide functional guidance and informal mentoring to consultants
- Participate in quality assurance and information-security activities
- Perform other related tasks assigned by the direct supervisor
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 8 years of hands-on SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 10 years of relevant experience without a Bachelor's degree
- At least two full-cycle SAP PM implementations
- Experience designing and configuring SAP PM technical objects, maintenance notifications, work orders, and maintenance plans
- Experience integrating SAP PM with MM, FICO, and PS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to act as a trusted advisor to clients on maintenance best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively in a large, integrated team environment
- Industry-recognized certification, such as SAP certification in S/4HANA Asset Management or SAP Plant Maintenance
- U.S. citizenship required
- Active Secret clearance (Tier 3 investigation) required
