Job Description
Remediation Engineer hardening infrastructure, managing Microsoft and Azure environments, and remediating vulnerabilities for CompassMSP managed-services clients.
Responsibilities:
- Security vulnerability remediation
- Infrastructure hardening and best practice implementation
- Microsoft 365 and Entra ID administration
- Active Directory management
- Server administration and troubleshooting
- Firewall and switch configuration
- Azure and cloud platform support
- Patching, upgrades, and system maintenance
- Technical implementations, migrations, and configuration changes
- Documentation and client environment improvement initiatives
- Independently execute technical remediation work
- Improve client security posture
- Assist with proactive infrastructure initiatives
Requirements:
- Strong Microsoft 365 experience
- Active Directory administration
- Windows Server administration
- Firewall and networking fundamentals
- Azure experience
- Troubleshooting across multiple infrastructure platforms
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced MSP environment
- MSP experience
- Ability to work across multiple technologies and client environments
