Job Description
Freelance retail experts creating prompts, rubrics, and benchmark data for Meridial’s AI evaluation projects. Fact-checking professional retail scenarios against real-world standards.
Responsibilities:
- Operate autonomously to design complex evaluation frameworks and provide structured training data
- Generate realistic, high-quality prompts for retail trade, visual merchandising, e-commerce, and store operations
- Write clear, well-structured evaluation rubrics with specific, non-ambiguous, easy-to-score criteria
- Produce clean, reliable benchmark evaluation data for AI model evaluation and refinement
- Perform quality assurance and fact-checking against real-world retail market standards, consumer trends, and operational realities
Requirements:
- Demonstrable professional expertise within the retail trade, merchandising, store management, or e-commerce sectors
- Deep understanding of industry standards, retail terminology, and inventory management
- Strong writing and prompt generation skills
- Ability to design highly realistic, complex retail task scenarios for AI evaluation
- Proficiency in rubric generation
- Ability to create objective, non-ambiguous scoring criteria
- Meticulous, detail-oriented approach to fact-checking merchandising plans, pricing strategies, consumer data, and retail operations
- Secure computer and high-speed internet
- Engagement as a freelance/independent contractor
