Job Description
Serbian voice acting specialist recording scripted speech for Meridial’s AI training project. Delivering clean, expressive audio and participating in short group readings.
Responsibilities:
- Record short lines and paragraphs in the dominant language using friendly, neutral, and authoritative tones
- Participate in paired or group script readings with other Serbian speakers, typically short scripts of around 5 minutes
- Follow direction and retake as needed for timing, emphasis, and clarity
- Submit clean, well-labeled audio files on schedule
Requirements:
- Near-Native Proficiency in Serbian
- Must speak 2 languages well (preferably non-English)
- Must be native fluency in the listed language and either equal proficiency, near-native proficiency, or working proficiency in the other language
- Native-level fluency in your language and strong, easy-to-understand speech
- Silent recording environment with no background noise, echo, or hum
- Good microphone and stable recording setup; pop filter if possible
- Ability to follow briefs and take notes on pronunciation or style
- Prior VO/voice acting, podcasting, or on-mic experience is a nice-to-have
- Basic audio hygiene is a nice-to-have
- Secure computer, high-quality microphone and recording setup, and stable internet connection required as a contractor
