Job Description

Rostering Assistant coordinating workforce resources, rosters, travel and fatigue compliance for AtkinsRéalis. Supporting engineering and nuclear operations through workforce planning, reporting and supplier coordination.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer the Fatigue 360 system and maintain accurate employee records
  • Ensure rosters align with operational and project requirements and comply with policies and standards
  • Monitor fatigue and associated risks, liaising with employees and managers and implementing actions
  • Produce and distribute roster, fatigue and compliance reports
  • Coordinate and allocate resources to support workforce productivity and planning
  • Arrange and communicate employee accommodation and travel requirements
  • Support managers and employees with roster management, fatigue compliance and workforce planning queries
  • Monitor staffing levels and resource availability, identify gaps and support contingency planning
  • Maintain workforce planning records and provide management information, reporting and analysis
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations and fatigue management requirements
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support the Practice Manager with administrative, operational and resource management activities

Requirements:

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, managers, operational teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently, use initiative and solve problems
  • Experience in an administrative, coordination or scheduling role
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to maintain accurate records, produce reports and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
  • Experience in rostering, workforce planning, scheduling or resource coordination advantageous
  • Experience in aviation, emergency services, healthcare, transport, professional services or similar operational environments advantageous
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including Mathematics and English
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Flexible approach to working arrangements and occasional travel required
  • May require relevant security clearance and proof of 5 years or longer UK residency
