Job Description
Sales compensation analyst optimizing agency incentives for a major U.S. insurer. Building financial models, dashboards, forecasts, and ROI analyses to guide distribution decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Track and administer agency compensation programs, sales incentives, achievement clubs, and other Distribution initiatives.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of incentive calculations, reporting, and program results.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions providing visibility into compensation performance and business outcomes.
- Analyze compensation program effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Create financial models supporting new incentive programs and enhancements to existing programs.
- Build budget forecasts and ROI analyses assessing the financial impact of compensation initiatives.
- Partner with business stakeholders to evaluate program performance and make data-driven recommendations.
- Monitor key performance metrics and provide ongoing reporting to leadership teams.
- Use Power BI, Excel, SQL, and Snowflake to gather, analyze, and visualize data.
- Support strategic planning with insights on sales performance, compensation trends, and incentive effectiveness.
- Collaborate across multiple business units to align compensation programs with organizational goals.
- Present findings and recommendations to management in a clear and actionable manner.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in compensation analysis, financial analysis, sales analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
- Experience developing financial models, forecasts, performance reporting, budgeting and forecasting expertise.
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL & Snowflake.
- Experience creating dashboards, scorecards, and automated reporting solutions.
- Strong ROI and business case analysis capabilities.
- Management and executive reporting experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Valid, local legal authorization to work in the country where the role is based at the time of hire.
- No parallel employment, professional activities, or paid work for other entities during employment with FBS.
- Disclosure and formal review of ownership, partnership, directorship, or participation in other businesses or companies.
