Job Description

Sales Data Management Specialist maintaining Salesforce, Google Sheets, and SQL data for VAST Data’s AI infrastructure platform. Ensuring global CRM accuracy and RevOps reporting integrity.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively contact sales representatives via calls, Slack, and email to obtain missing or incomplete deal, deployment, account, and contact data
  • Enforce global data-entry standards and ensure required CRM fields are populated
  • Gatekeep opportunity, renewal, and account progression by verifying data completeness
  • Drive CRM hygiene across global sales teams and regional territories
  • Update, clean, and maintain Salesforce Accounts, Opportunities, Contacts, Assets, and other objects
  • Conduct data audits, bulk updates, and field validations
  • Identify and resolve missing metadata and data discrepancies in active deal pipelines
  • Enforce standardized data-entry rules for consistent global pipeline and forecast reporting
  • Build, maintain, and format advanced Google Sheets for missing-data tracking, pipeline audits, and input mapping
  • Run SQL queries to extract raw data, identify missing records, and cross-reference CRM inputs
  • Reconcile datasets across systems and ensure Salesforce records match operational source files
  • Deliver structured datasets to Revenue Operations leadership for decision-making
  • Collaborate with Revenue Operations, Sales Analytics, Field Sales, and Sales Leadership globally
  • Support Deal Desk and Finance by verifying pipeline data before quarter-end closes
  • Serve as a central contact for sales representatives needing data-update assistance

Requirements:

  • 2+ years in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Data Coordination, or a high-volume SDR/BDR role within a global SaaS/tech environment
  • Highly assertive communicator comfortable picking up the phone, joining calls, and pushing sales representatives to obtain required data
  • Direct experience updating fields, managing records, and navigating Salesforce/SFDC object structures
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets, including XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables, and data-cleaning formulas
  • Ability to write and run simple SQL queries to pull, filter, and cross-reference datasets
  • High attention to detail and tenacity across multiple time zones
