Job Description

Remote part-time EdTech partnerships manager expanding life-skills education programs across K–12 and higher education. Building institutional relationships, presenting programs, and converting partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and contact K–12 school districts, colleges, universities, and other educational organizations
  • Build relationships with administrators and educational decision-makers
  • Introduce life skills education programs and identify fit within institutions' existing student programs
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective institutional partners
  • Conduct phone and email outreach and follow-up
  • Meet virtually with school and college decision-makers to understand their needs
  • Present programs and demonstrate how they support students
  • Answer questions, address objections, and help prospects evaluate program suitability
  • Maintain relationships throughout the decision-making process
  • Take over qualified inbound opportunities, conduct presentations, and move opportunities toward partnerships
  • Identify promising school and college markets and determine decision-makers to approach
  • Refine messaging, outreach strategies, presentations, and follow-up processes
  • Develop repeatable strategies for expansion into new districts, colleges, and geographic markets
  • Contribute to growth through relationship development, pipeline creation, presentations, and revenue generation

Requirements:

  • Experience in EdTech sales or business development, K–12 school or district partnerships, higher education business development, educational program sales, school staffing/account management, enrollment or admissions sales, educational consulting, or SaaS sales into educational institutions
  • Experience building relationships with superintendents, district administrators, principals, school administrators, curriculum and instruction leaders, student services leadership, college and university administrators, career services or student success leaders, or other institutional education decision-makers
  • Comfortable initiating phone conversations with people not previously known
  • Ability to turn initial conversations into scheduled presentations
  • Ability to conduct professional virtual presentations independently
  • Consultative selling skills
  • Consistent follow-up over potentially longer education sales cycles
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Ability to help build processes within an early-stage company
  • Existing relationships within K–12 or higher education are a significant plus
