Job Description
AECO Sales Engineer delivering innovative software solutions for the construction landscape. Supporting technical solutions and customer digital evolution in the AECO UK Sales Engineering team.
Responsibilities:
- Act as one of the primary technical authorities for the AECO UK Sales Engineering team
- Support existing and new business bids and tenders
- Deliver technical brilliance in pre-sales and post-sales environments
- Conduct high-impact consultancy calls and software demonstrations for the Tekla portfolio
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to develop compelling use cases, webinars, and technical materials
- Act as an on-site technical expert at major industry events and conferences
- Collaborate directly with product teams to communicate customer feedback and suggest critical product developments or improvements
- Provide expert technical support and best-practice advice to ensure customers achieve maximum ROI from their construction software
Requirements:
- Proven experience working within the construction industry with a deep understanding of structural design modelling
- Hands-on knowledge of structural design software, preferably Tekla TSD and Tekla Tedds however equivalents are welcome
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to transmit complex information accurately to diverse audiences
- Foundational understanding of the sales cycle and a proactive, self-motivated approach to collaborative work
- Proven track record in a technical pre-sales environment specifically within the AECO sector
- Established ability to build strong relationships between technical and commercial stakeholders
