Job Description

Oncology Sales Representative advancing AbbVie’s ovarian cancer therapies. Building healthcare-provider relationships, executing account plans, and driving brand performance in Lisbon.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive brand strategy in the field
  • Build trusted customer relationships
  • Execute account plans supporting patient care and business success
  • Develop pre-call plans with SMART objectives and complete post-call evaluations
  • Address objections, concerns, and misunderstandings and drive clear next steps
  • Anticipate customer needs, expectations, and challenges to create win-win outcomes
  • Develop and execute multichannel call plans to achieve call metrics, optimize coverage and frequency, and maximize access and sales opportunities
  • Build knowledge of customer needs, market dynamics, competitors, disease state, products, and clinical expertise
  • Share market intelligence with the field team and sales manager
  • Differentiate AbbVie's value proposition with healthcare providers
  • Identify, develop, and maintain disease state experts and speakers/advocates
  • Deliver against sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, Biological Sciences, Pharmacy, business related field, or equivalent
  • Proven track record of success in sales performance within the Oncology therapeutic area, preferably in Gynecology/Breast/Ovarian/Women's Health Cancers
  • Commercial pharmaceutical industry experience such as physician/account-based selling, training, managed health care, or marketing preferred
  • Proven track record of success in selling
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Ability to identify customer style/behavior and adapt all aspects of selling approach
  • In-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge, or willingness to develop it
  • English language proficiency verbally and in writing
  • Residency within Lisbon area
