Job Description
AbbVie pharmaceutical sales representative driving rheumatology and immunology product growth in Taipei. Managing healthcare customers, territory plans, market intelligence, and sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Provide monthly sales information to the Sales Manager to support proposed forecasts
- Develop and execute sales plans with the Sales Manager after forecast approval
- Implement product sales strategies to achieve sales goals and targets
- Maintain regular customer contact to meet customer needs and territory sales targets
- Identify new business opportunities and gain new or expanded business while maintaining existing business
- Develop and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly plans and results, cycle goals, sales targets, and results to Sales and Marketing Management
- Communicate market intelligence to Sales and Marketing Management
- Attend marketing activities, conferences, health talks, exhibitions, booths, and trade displays as required
- Conduct video showings, slide presentations, in-service sessions, trials, market research, and advocate speaker meetings with customers as required
- Ensure territory activities are conducted professionally and comply with AbbVie standards and Code of Conduct
- Develop and maintain territory and customer records
- Attend regular departmental meetings with the manager and support continuous feedback
- Build long-term positive customer relationships and manage key stakeholders and opinion leaders
- Plan and execute flexible 90-day territory management plans
- Manage territory resources and use SFE tools to collect and analyze customer data and visit records
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years sales experience in a relevant field
- Specialty experience is preferred
- Knowledge of business potential and capability to turn it into performance
- Persistence and resilience when confronted with obstacles
- Agility and accountability to manage multiple tasks, including digital transformation, under aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment
- Ability to build strong relationships with peers, cross-functionally, and with external partners
- Ability to motivate and influence others, including those without direct authority
- Understand and adopt product, disease, and market knowledge
- Understand product positioning and competitiveness
- Read and analyze market, competitor information, and potential
- Fair understanding of territory and healthcare system
- Ability to sell using product portfolio and marketing promotions

- Ability to deliver convincing product knowledge and promotional messages through valid customer segmentation
- Ability to handle key issues and interact with customers using effective selling skills
- Challenger skills to change customer opinions and handle conflicts

- Ability to plan and execute a 90-day territory management plan
- Ability to manage territory resources accurately and timely
- Ability to use SFE and other tools to collect customer data and visit records and analyze them for planning
