Job Description

Salesforce Developer applying expertise to build functionality for energy & utilities clients. Involves coding, testing, and collaboration across teams in a fully remote setup.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, document and refactor moderately complex Salesforce components (Apex, Lightning Web Components, and configuration), deployed to customers.
  • Design, build and maintain automated tests and test suites (e.g. Apex tests, UI/end-to-end automation, API testing) and support their integration into continuous integration / continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Contribute to quality engineering practices — test coverage, test-driven development and defect management.
  • Build and consume integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise systems (REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, middleware) as part of a wider integration landscape.
  • Configure and extend Salesforce Industries / Energy & Utilities Cloud features (e.g. OmniStudio) where applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with Salesforce best practices and security standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams — consultants, engineers and architects — to gather and analyse requirements and turn lightweight requirements into prototypes, then production builds.
  • Create technical documentation and user guides; provide technical support and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' proven experience as a Salesforce Developer.
  • Experience with Salesforce Industries / Energy & Utilities Cloud (OmniStudio).
  • Hands-on experience of test automation and quality engineering (e.g. Apex tests, UI/API automation).
  • Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components and API development.
  • Experience delivering customer-specific Salesforce projects and gathering requirements from end users.
  • Experience building integrations in a complex enterprise environment with multiple connected systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform features, security and best practices.
  • Experience with Salesforce DX and CI/CD tooling.
  • Familiarity with agile delivery, especially Scrum.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

Benefits:

  • 33 days leave (including privileged leave and national holidays)
  • 12 days casual/sick leave (for illness or unforeseen personal matters)
  • Fully remote working
  • Health plan
  • Profit sharing bonus
