Job Description
Salesforce Developer building secure, integrated solutions for Fuze Health’s digital healthcare platform. Supporting patient-data operations through Apex, Lightning, APIs, and AWS services.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Flow
- Implement and maintain declarative customizations, including custom objects, fields, validation rules, Flows, and Apex
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and product managers to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST, SOAP, batch jobs, integration tools, and APIs
- Perform data migrations and ensure data integrity within Salesforce
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including system design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines for patient health data
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and provide ongoing Salesforce platform support and maintenance
- Stay current with Salesforce features and recommend and implement improvements
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer
- Proven experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
- Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and JavaScript
- Knowledge of AWS platform development preferred
- Experience with Salesforce declarative tools
- Solid understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and sharing settings
- Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP) and integration patterns
- Familiarity with version control (GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines; DevOps Center
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is required
- Platform Developer II is a plus
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer certification preferred
- Experience with other Salesforce clouds, such as Health Cloud and Experience Cloud
- Knowledge of front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS)
- Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies within Salesforce
- Familiarity with Mulesoft
- Ability to work at a computer terminal with monitor, keyboard and mouse for extended periods
- Ability to stoop, bend, reach, make frequent repetitive motions, and lift, carry, push, pull, and move light objects up to 20 pounds
- Ability to communicate verbally, discern auditory information, and visually perceive details
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is unavailable
