Job Description

Senior Integration Developer at FCamara designing and optimizing system integrations. Leading complex projects with high performance and scalable solutions in SAP BTP.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development and implementation of complex integration solutions using platforms such as SAP BTP/Cloud Platform Integration (CPI)
  • Define and propose integration architecture solutions, selecting the most appropriate patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, event-driven) to meet business and non-functional requirements (performance, security, scalability).
  • Act as a technical partner to business stakeholders, translating complex needs into clear, feasible technical specifications.
  • Ensure excellence in technical documentation, creating diagrams, runbooks and artifacts that serve as references for the whole team.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and the resolution of critical integration incidents, acting as the focal point for high-complexity issues.
  • Mentor junior developers, sharing knowledge, performing code reviews and promoting a culture of quality and best practices.
  • Promote and disseminate secure development best practices (secure coding), performance optimization and monitoring of integration services.
  • Stay up to date with market trends in iPaaS platforms, microservices architectures and integration patterns, proposing innovations and continuous improvements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience in integration development, with involvement in high-complexity projects.
  • Strong command of synchronous (REST/SOAP APIs) and asynchronous (messaging, queues, event-driven) integration architectures, with practical application in relevant projects.
  • Deep experience in developing and troubleshooting iFlows on the SAP BTP / Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) platform.
  • Solid knowledge and practical application of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIPs).
  • Systemic and strategic thinking to design solutions that not only solve the immediate problem but are sustainable in the long term.
  • Technical leadership capability and excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Analysis or related fields.
  • Certifications in SAP BTP (considered a strong plus).
  • Advanced proficiency in microservices development with Java and Spring Boot, focusing on building robust, secure and high-performance APIs.
  • Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) for automating integration deployments.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with API Management (e.g., SAP APIM, Kong, Apigee, Sensedia), including defining security policies and traffic management.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and observability strategies (logs, metrics, tracing) for distributed architectures.
