Job Description
Outside Sales Representative selling environmental monitoring instruments for American Ecotech and Ambilabs across Canada. Managing technical sales cycles, customer relationships, demonstrations, and frequent client travel.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities across government, research, industrial, and environmental sectors throughout Canada
- Conduct in-person site visits, product demonstrations, and technical consultations with new and existing clients
- Drive the full sales cycle from lead generation and quoting through closing and post-sale follow-up support
- Build and maintain customer relationships while identifying account growth and repeat-business opportunities
- Collaborate with engineering, support, and marketing teams to ensure project delivery and customer satisfaction
- Attend conferences, trade shows, and networking events across Canada to represent the company and generate new business
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and customer information within Zoho CRM
Requirements:
- Three or more years of experience in outside sales, preferably involving technical, scientific, industrial, or instrumentation products
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Strong understanding of environmental monitoring systems or ability to quickly develop technical product knowledge
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote role while managing priorities and multiple customer accounts
- Proficiency with Zoho CRM and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software considered an asset
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout Canada, including overnight travel
- Valid passport and ability to travel internationally if required
