Job Description

SDET Engineer testing LiveLike’s real-time fan-engagement platform for sports and entertainment clients. Building automated tests and validating web, mobile, performance, and live-event experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand requirement documents, identify potential edge cases, and ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • Translate requirements into detailed manual and automated test cases covering functional and non-functional requirements
  • Conduct functional, non-functional, security, and performance testing
  • Enhance testing strategies, tools, and practices to improve automation, efficiency, and coverage
  • Execute manual tests for new and existing features
  • Design and document test cases for functional and non-functional scenarios
  • Identify, log, and track defects and collaborate with developers on resolutions
  • Conduct regression testing to verify bug fixes and product stability
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Appium, or similar tools
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with product, development, and QA teams to define test strategies and requirements
  • Participate in sprint planning to ensure test coverage and timely delivery
  • Conduct performance testing for high loads and real-time interaction
  • Test web and mobile products across platforms and devices for compatibility
  • Monitor user experience during live events to ensure seamless operation

Requirements:

  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience in software testing, combining manual and automation testing
  • Proven test automation experience with Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar tools
  • Manual testing experience for web and mobile applications
  • Knowledge of API testing and database validation
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Java, or JavaScript
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban
  • Experience with JIRA
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab
  • Good understanding of REST APIs and related testing practices
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional work
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a dynamic environment
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies and tools
