Job Description
SDET II developing automated software testing solutions for applications and systems at Modivcare. Collaborating with development teams to ensure quality and performance across platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains automated test scripts and frameworks to validate software functionality and performance across a variety of platforms
- Collaborates with software developers to identify and resolve defects and issues
- Participates in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, and testing
- Reviews and analyzes system specifications and documentation to ensure testability and alignment with business requirements
- Executes test cases (manual or automated), analyzes results, and identifies software defects
- Tracks, records, and manages bug resolution processes
- Performs regression testing to ensure stability of existing functionality
- Creates and maintains test documentation and reporting
- Applies testing processes for both new and existing products to meet client needs
- Coordinates with geographically distributed teams and internal stakeholders to define system requirements
- Stays current with industry testing tools, frameworks, and best practices
- May participate in other projects or duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required
- Three (3) plus years of experience in a software quality or development role
- Proven experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or similar title
- Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript is required
- Proficiency in one or more additional programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript)
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, Cucumber, BDD)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience in mobile, API, and database testing is a plus
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, agile frameworks, and regression testing
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a team-oriented mindset.
