Job Description

SDET II developing automated software testing solutions for applications and systems at Modivcare. Collaborating with development teams to ensure quality and performance across platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains automated test scripts and frameworks to validate software functionality and performance across a variety of platforms
  • Collaborates with software developers to identify and resolve defects and issues
  • Participates in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, and testing
  • Reviews and analyzes system specifications and documentation to ensure testability and alignment with business requirements
  • Executes test cases (manual or automated), analyzes results, and identifies software defects
  • Tracks, records, and manages bug resolution processes
  • Performs regression testing to ensure stability of existing functionality
  • Creates and maintains test documentation and reporting
  • Applies testing processes for both new and existing products to meet client needs
  • Coordinates with geographically distributed teams and internal stakeholders to define system requirements
  • Stays current with industry testing tools, frameworks, and best practices
  • May participate in other projects or duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required
  • Three (3) plus years of experience in a software quality or development role
  • Proven experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or similar title
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript is required
  • Proficiency in one or more additional programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript)
  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, Cucumber, BDD)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Experience in mobile, API, and database testing is a plus
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, agile frameworks, and regression testing
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a team-oriented mindset.
