Job Description
Senior Analyst developing databases, models, and analytical tools for CVS Health’s Actuarial, Finance, and Medical Economics teams. Supporting healthcare claims and underwriting decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain databases, data sources, and analytical tools
- Support and inform Actuarial, Finance, and Medical Economics teams
- Design and deliver solutions meeting actuarial, finance, and underwriting needs
- Collaborate and communicate with teams, leaders, and stakeholders across the organization
- Organize and document code so business logic is easy to locate, read, and update
- Build database models
- Analyze detailed datasets
- Clearly communicate analysis results to varied audiences
Requirements:
- 3+ years in SQL or SAS
- SAS-EG and VBA with analytical and model-building skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Cloud-based environment experience and web-based query tools are a plus
- Knowledge of claims data from ACAS, HRP and QNXT platforms is preferred
- Experience with Commercial, Medicare, and Pharmacy data is preferred
- Python, GCP BigQuery, and Mainframe experience are a plus
- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience
- Ability to work 40 hours weekly
