Job Description
Senior AWS Cloud Engineer at Revolgy responsible for automated migration solutions and tooling. Focused on infrastructure complexity and mentoring engineers in a remote role.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for the design and delivery of automated migration solutions — from tooling and IaC through to troubleshooting and knowledge transfer.
- Migration solution design — architecting automated, repeatable approaches for lower-complexity workloads that integrate cleanly with platform networking, security, and observability.
- Tooling and configuration — hands-on configuration and optimisation of AWS migration tools (MGN, CloudEndure) and supporting automation.
- Infrastructure as Code — building and maintaining Terraform to a standard the team can rely on and extend.
- Automation scripting — developing Python, Bash, and PowerShell scripts that turn one-off tasks into repeatable processes.
- Technical troubleshooting — diagnosing and resolving migration issues across OS, network, storage, and application layers — including the tricky legacy ones.
- CI/CD and operational runbooks — defining and maintaining the pipelines and documentation that keep delivery consistent and recoverable.
- Quality assurance — supporting test strategy for migrated workloads and holding the bar on production readiness.
- Mentoring — actively developing junior and mid-level engineers through code review, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of AWS cloud engineering experience — you work independently across the platform and know where the sharp edges are
- 3+ years in migration projects — you have done this enough times to anticipate the problems before they happen
- Strong scripting skills — Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell; you write automation that others can read and maintain
- IaC proficiency — Terraform, written to production standard
- Linux and Windows administration depth — including legacy Windows Server and RHEL/Oracle Linux in the context of VMware vSphere/ESXi environments
- Nice to have CI/CD pipeline experience — building and maintaining pipelines for both infrastructure and application delivery
- AWS Associate or Professional certification.
Benefits:
- Fully Remote Work from anywhere in Europe.
- Complex Work Worth Doing Migrations at this level involve real technical depth — legacy OS environments, VMware, intricate networking, and the kind of edge cases that only surface under pressure.
- A Team to Influence As a senior engineer, you will have a direct hand in how the team grows.
- Investment in Your Growth We support professional development and cloud certifications through our AWS and Google Cloud partnerships.
- Autonomy With Accountability You will have the scope and trust to own your technical decisions.
- AI-First Culture AI and automation are everyday tools here.
