Job Description

Azure Consultant designing, migrating, and optimizing Microsoft Azure cloud architectures for LM IT Services. Automating infrastructure and deployments while advising customers and junior consultants.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on designing, migrating, and optimizing cloud solutions based on Microsoft Azure, acting as the technical point of contact
  • Design and implement scalable, highly available, and secure Azure architectures
  • Support the planning and execution of cloud migrations from on-premises or other cloud environments to Azure
  • Operate, monitor, and continuously optimize Azure services
  • Automate deployments and infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD pipelines
  • Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and governance requirements
  • Produce technical documentation and provide sustainable knowledge transfer to clients and internal teams
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues, contribute to knowledge sharing, and mentor junior consultants

Requirements:

  • Degree in IT or a related field with an IT focus, IT vocational training, or equivalent practical experience
  • Several years of experience with Microsoft Azure and modern cloud architectures
  • Solid knowledge of Azure core services, networking, identity and access management, and security
  • Experience with DevOps practices and automating deployments and infrastructure is desirable
  • Proficiency in PowerShell and the Azure CLI for administration and automation of Azure environments
  • Practical experience working as an Azure Consultant
  • Analytical thinking, strong client orientation, and the ability to work independently
  • Team player
  • Fluent written and spoken German
